The Bachelor in Luxury, Merchandising & Design at EIML Paris is a 3-year work-study program that specializes students in the creation and design of luxury store spaces. The goal is to teach students how to tell the brand’s story through visual merchandising and manage the operation of a luxury store.
The program is designed for students interested in merchandising — the design and visual staging of luxury product displays — a key aspect of marketing strategies in luxury brands.
This 3-year program provides students with a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, particularly in luxury retail and visual merchandising.
Key Aspects of the Program:
Year 1 focuses on market fundamentals, including the history of fashion, art, design, and the basics of marketing and merchandising. Students also learn graphic design techniques and gain proficiency in using software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
Year 2 deepens skills in consumer behavior, marketing communication, e-merchandising, and brand creation. Students will also learn web design and ergonomics, while engaging in technical seminars on materials and their use in luxury merchandising.
- Year 3 explores specialized merchandising topics, such as sensory marketing, sales forecasting, performance management, and space design. Students will also can work on real-world projects such as creating pop-up stores and presenting portfolios to industry experts.
The program also offers an optional Store Tour to London, providing a valuable international perspective.

For this Bachelor, there is one admission level:
- 1st year: hold a general of STMG Baccalaureat
- A good level in English is required

Step 2: Review of the academic record
Upon receiving your login via email, log in to your personal MyGes account and upload the requested documents.

Step 3 : Admission examination
Composed of:
- Written tests: Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in English, French, general culture/luxury culture, logic, plus a marketing MCQ (duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
- An individual interview, in English, with a jury member (duration: 30 minutes)
N.B. :
- The individual interview takes place on the same day as the written tests
- Throughout the year, exams are organized 2 to 3 times a month, both in-person and online. Only the next two exam dates are listed on our website.
Skills and knowledges are assessed equally through two distinct methods: continuous assessment and final evaluation. Continuous assessment is conducted throughout the teaching period and may include knowledge tests, practical case studies, research assignments, and/or individual or group oral presentations. Final evaluations take place outside regular class sessions and may involve case studies, project work, activity reports, and/or dissertations, as well as professional role-playing simulations.
